Casa Cubista - Classic stripe 2L pitcher

Made by a pottery in the Alentejo region of Portugal, these 2L terracotta pitchers are prized for their graphic blue and white/black and white design and the fact that each is hand-thrown and hand-decorated.

Please note, since these are handmade items we think of them as 'perfectly imperfect' and any mark in the glaze only adds to the charm of the piece.

Care: Hand wash recommended. ** Prior to first use, all pieces should be washed by hand in hot soapy water, well rinsed and allowed to air dry. To maintain the integrity of the pieces (i.e. colour, glaze), dishwasher use is not recommended.

Please note, this pitcher may initially feel damp on the base when filled. This is a perfectly natural process called sweating, and will lessen over time and use.
