Made by a pottery in the Alentejo region of Portugal, these terracotta jugs are prized for the fact that each is hand-thrown and hand-decorated.

Please note, since these are handmade items we think of them as 'perfectly imperfect' and any mark in the glaze only adds to the charm of the piece.

Care: Hand wash recommended.  ** All pieces must be washed in hot soapy water, well rinsed and air dried before first use.

Please note, this pitcher may initially feel damp on the base when filled. This is a perfectly natural process called sweating, and will lessen over time and use.
