These dipped classic carafe pieces are made using a rough, traditional form of red terracotta clay that has been used for centuries. Made by a master potter who's family has been in the business for over 200 years, grit and small stones are normal within the clay, as is an uneven glazed surface. The pattern is made by the potter artfully coaxes drips down the side of the piece.
Great for any kind of cold beverage you fancy, may we suggest sangria? The clay is a natural insulator and will keep your drink nice and cool. But! If you end up using them as a bud vase, who are we to complain?

The first glass producing factory – A Real Fábrica de Vidros da Marinha Grande – was established by the Marquis of Pombal in 1769. Since then many factories have maintained the regions secular tradition. They produce high quality mouth blown glass.
