Rounded Mug, Horizontal Stripe - Various Colours

Made by a pottery in the Alentejo region of Portugal, these terracotta mugs are prized for their graphic design and the fact that each is hand-thrown and hand-decorated.

Since these are handmade items we think of them as 'perfectly imperfect' and any mark in the glaze only adds to the charm of the piece.

Care: Hand wash recommended. ** Prior to first use, all pieces should be washed by hand in hot soapy water, well rinsed and allowed to air dry. To maintain the integrity of the pieces (i.e. colour, glaze), dishwasher use is not recommended.

Please note, this mug may initially feel damp on the base when filled. This is a perfectly natural process called sweating, and will lessen over time and use.
