This handsome decorative tile riffs on a traditional Moorish pattern found in Portugal, glazed in a contemporary black, white and grey finish.
Casa cubista excited to be working with Aresta Viva, a small family-run tilemakers located in the Algarve, to make these tiles. Each and every one is a labour of love and takes 4 weeks to hand make, from casting, drying, first firing, glazing and finally a second firing.
Layer one into a vignette on a coffee table or credenza. Use one as a handy trivet in the kitchen. Hang one - or a series - on a wall to make a statement (each tile is notched in two spots on the back to make hanging with a nail a snap). Or, think of adding a run, or a panel of tiles, to a kitchen backsplash or bathroom wall - please contact us for info and pricing on large orders.
