*ceramic pieces like to be treated with care, for that they prefer to be washed by hand and do not like microwaves

Care: Hand wash recommended. ** Prior to first use, all pieces should be washed by hand in hot soapy water, well rinsed and allowed to air dry. To maintain the integrity of the pieces (i.e. colour, glaze), dishwasher use is not recommended.Please note, this pitcher may initially feel damp on the base when filled. This is a perfectly natural process called sweating, and will lessen over time and use.
